Position Summary:

ABSC is seeking an Information Assurance Technician with a Secret clearance to support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense’s COVID-19 Assisted Acquisition Project Team.  This role is designated as work from home / remote.  Our team members provide information assurance support to one of the nation’s most critical medical priorities.  If you are ready to join ABSC in enabling the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense to provide critical and unique capabilities to the Department of Defense, apply today!

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Performing analysis on ARCYBER orders to understand impacts to the COVID-19 Assisted Acquisition Project Team
  • Using an established tasking system to notify the COVID-19 Assisted Acquisition Project Team of impacts from ARCYBER orders
  • Monitoring and tracking plan of action and milestones (POA&M) associated with cybersecurity activities and risk management framework (RMF) packages
  • Tracking compliance with ARCYBER orders, such as mitigation, quarantine, and the closure of POA&M items
  • Creating and maintaining an internal checklist for assessing eMASS packages
  • Creating and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with all POA&M tasks and dates, to include activities or milestones associated with cybersecurity requirements
  • Forecasting and tasking Authority to Operate (ATO) expirations


Experience Required for this Role:

  • Four (4) years of IA technology or related experience and one (1) year of management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with information assurance tasks
  • Knowledge of eMASS and risk management framework (RMF) packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.


Education Required:


  • Current IAM Level I certification (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, or Security+ CE)
  • Able to achieve ITIL 4 Foundation certification within 6 months
  • Able to achieve IAM Level II certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP [or Associate], GSLC, or CCISO) within 12 months
